Healthy Breakfast Ideas + Recipes

Below are a few easy and healthy breakfast ideas if you have 10 minutes or less time in the morning to prepare something. We hope you try these out!


Fan Favourite Avocado Toast with a Spin




















Ingredients

  • 1 Ripe Avocado

  • 1/4 cup Microgreens

  • 1 clove Garlic

  • 1 Tablespoon seeds of choice (we're going with sesame seeds)

  • 1 Large Egg

  • Butter/Oil for Frying Purposes

  • And of course Sourdough Bread (it just works the best)

Extras

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • Chilli Flakes for seasoning


Step 1

Toast your bread in a frying pan with some butter or oil, then cut your garlic clove in half and rub it on each side of the toast.


Step 2

Fry your egg in butter or oil on a low heat (it makes it 10x better)


Step 3

Assemble your toast by halving your avocado, removing the pit and slicing it, after which you can add the egg on top, as well as all your toppings.


It's that easy!


Yoghurt Parfait with your choice of Toppings


















Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh Berries

  • Fresh Mint

  • 1/2 cup Granola/Muesli

  • 1 cup Vanilla Bean Yoghurt

  • 1 teaspoon Honey (optional)

Simply assemble your parfait in your container of choice, it doesn't really get any easier than that!


Classic Bacon & Eggs






















Ingredients

  • 1 Slice Bread

  • Cherry Tomatoes

  • A few strips of Bacon

  • 1/2 cup Arugula

  • 1/2 an Avocado

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • Butter or Oil for Frying

Step 1

Toast the bread in a frying pan with some butter or oil, after that fry the egg (or scramble it) and the bacon in the pan.


Step 2

Add all your elements to the plate and add some salt & pepper to the egg, arugula and avocado.


Protein Pancakes






















Ingredients

  • 1 Large Ripe Banana

  • 1 Large Egg

  • 1 scoop Vanilla protein powder

  • 1 tsp Baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 3 tbsp Greek yogurt

  • A bit of Oil for frying

  • Butter, Fresh Fruit or Honey for Toppings

Step 1

Combine all the ingredients in a blender or combine in a bowl until smooth.


Step 2

Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a hot frying pan and add 1/4 cup of the mixture at a time. Flip the pancakes when bubbles start appearing at the top and cook through.


Step 3

Dish your pancakes and add all your preferred toppings.
